As I sit and listen to the "Amplifications" album by Lesley Flanigan. I smile again. Watching her performance at Art&&Code Saturday night someone approached me to say that he looked around and he and I were the only ones actually smiling during the performance.
It was an inspiring weekend. Reminded me of FlashForward from a while back, expect I did learn a bit more about things I didn't know about. Workshop 1, SMS made easy. DeepLocal provides, http://www.gumband.com/, a sandbox for working on SMS projects. And what do you know, I happen to have an idea for it use.
Workshop 2, physical computing: Arduino + Android. I really like my Google Android, and the face that I can now start to develop apps for it. And I love arduinos, the posibilities are so large, I sometimes don't know where to start and its overwhelming.
Saturday Lecture, Excellent insight on the use of mobile, and its involvement in art, and its possibilities. With an evening of digital grafitti and circuit bending (i always wanted to try doing that...both of em, and I'm feeling confident about trying it out).
Workshop 3, Asterisk Telephony. AWESOME! It was 1/2 of what I needed it to get it working, I at least learned the part of connecting Askterisk to PHP and then to Processing (which I'm sure I can make work in Flash as well). Now the only hard part to that one is getting The Askerisk hooked up with a phone number and running... That I haven't gotten fully figured out yet, but I'm working on it.
So now the list grow yet again of the things I want to do. The only thing holding me back is time, there is only so much time in a day, but that isn't much of an excuse. So I will press on and not let the man get me down. If you are in Cleveland, just keep an eye out. One night you may see a building lit up and being digitally painted on. Or you could spot mysterious QR tags floating around (scan them, it'll be worth it).

Until then, happy experimenting.
