So projects come and projects go. Some have more restrictions than others. but why is it that the projects with the most freedom give to most challenge. 'The sky is the limit' and that should make it easy, just come up with a great design, some cool simple animation, DONE.

That's not how it works. That's when the second guessing comes along. Would the clients really see this? Don't I have any better ideas? Why can't I just focus on something?!
The best thing to do at that point is try and clear the mind. Take a walk, play a game. Get you mind away from everything. then let is slowly creep back in, and stop yourself from over analyzing. Ping. Idea. Now it's just a matter of getting that idea in front of you.
